DETROIT (AP) — The owners of more than two dozen McDonald's restaurants in southeast Michigan will be acknowledged for their neighborhood improvement efforts.

Proclamations are expected to be presented Monday morning to Errol and Savarior Service during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at a redesigned restaurant on Detroit's west side.

Of the 15 McDonald's restaurants in southeast Michigan owned by the Services, eight are in Detroit.

The redesigned restaurant at Grand River and Livernois features a contemporary dining room, soft leather seating and laptop stations for patrons.
